HCE and Impact on Schools
Today we will be discussing The impact on schools which are practicing healing-centered engagement with Marilyn Bellis and April Gonzalez, two coaches from our Healing Centered Engagement in Schools Initiative.
Marilyn and April bring a combined 60 years of experience in education as classroom teachers, and as public school administrators when working with school-based HCE Teams. As professional developers and coaches, they guided committed educators through the process of acquiring shared background knowledge, developing a long-term vision, assessing current practices, and co-constructing and implementing annual HCE Action Plans. According to Marilyn and April, the best part of their coaching experience has been the relationships they established with like-minded professionals who recognize the need and importance of this work.
